May 2010 Pets Newsletter
Dear Pet Lovers,
It has been an unusually warm autumn up until now, but winter is creeping up on us and many dogs and cats experience stiffness and pain in the cold weather, especially older animals. There are plenty of options to ease those 'old bones' and manage your pet's arthritis, so speak with your vet soon to organise a treatment plan. In other stories this month we look at different anxiety disorders in pets, tips on first aid for pet accidents and emergencies around the home, simple training techniques for living happily ever after with your dog, looking out for chlamydiosis (parrot fever) in birds, plus solving poo-eating behaviour in dogs. Yuk!
